our MISSION
The mission of The Model Railroad Club, Inc. is to educate the general public and the Club’s members about the railroads and the industries they served in the New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania area. This is accomplished through the building and operating of the Club’s scale model railroad displays, interpretive displays on the railroad industry and the hobby of model railroading in our gallery area and by conducting research.
2026 HOLIDAY TRAIN SHOW
Once a year, The Model Railroad Club hosts its annual Holiday Train Show and Open House.
This year, back by popular demand, Jenny is Coming Home! At the bottom of every hour, a 15 minute performance will take place where our trains will run to a professionally narrated script.
Our gift shop will be open, and the snack bar will be serving hot dogs.

HO Scale
Our HO scale railroad is the heart of The Model Railroad Club, Inc. At 1:87 scale, it brings the railroads of the Northeast to life through detailed locomotives and carefully crafted scenery that captures the character of the region’s railroading heritage.
N Scale
At 1:160 scale, N scale enables expansive scenes and long train movements while maintaining impressive levels of detail. The layout demonstrates how model railroading can recreate entire regions and railroad operations in a compact yet realistic miniature world.
